This is one of those stories that just makes you wonder how long till the whole thing goes up in smoke.
According to a report out of CBS Sacramento, Walmart store brand water bottled under the name Great Value is actually nothing more than Sacramento tap water sold to their bottler at the same cost residents pay for it. Walmart takes the water from the city, bottles it in cheap recycled plastic jugs and then sells it for a TREMENDOUS profit. Problem is, there is a little thing called a drought taking place in California these days and residents are being told they have to conserve water and use much less (30 something percent) than they normally use while Walmart and their owners, the Waltons, (they also own the Clintons by the way) just keep filling up the jugs as fast as they can and cashing…
